Wear the friendly skies. With airfare going up, boarding a plane may be out of the question. Even so, that doesn't mean you can't fasten your seatbelt. Enumclaw, Wash.-based SkyBelts uses AmSafe airplane buckles attached to seat belt webbing for a stylish belt. Jennifer Longley, a former Chicago-based flight attendant for United Airlines, designs the belts but always gets final approval from her trend-savvy 16-year-old daughter. Longley isn't the only airline industry veteran in her family. Her father was a pilot and her two brothers are pilots. "I never thought buckling into a seat belt all those years that I'd be wearing one," Longley said.
